Cedar Fair is seeking a Contract Senior Recruiter to support full cycle corporate hiring. Will consider remote work location in eastern time zone with strong preference for candidate local to the Charlotte, NC corporate office

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of full-cycle in-house or corporate recruitment experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a corporate environment
  • Proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Experience supporting corporate hiring for professional, managerial and executive positions
  • Demonstrated experience in offer negotiations and candidate-care skills
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing digital tools for job advertising
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems, preferably iCIMS
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, report writing and KPI development
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Manages the end-to-end recruiting life-cycle to include sourcing, screening, selection, offer and onboarding including orientation of Cedar Fair corporate staff, including senior level/executive recruiting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hiring teams, applicants and vendor partners through recruiting process.
  • Understand organization staffing needs and establish recruiting strategies to meet demand
  • Writes and places branded advertisements utilizing broad recruiting marketing principles
  • Source talent using established and creative techniques for outbound pipelining.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by conducting screening and evaluation against stated job requirements and compensation parameters.  
  • Utilizes applicant tracking system and recruiting tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and applicant files and proper disposition of candidates
  • Understands cash & equity compensation programs, structuring offers and facilitates compensation negotiations.
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws
  • Develop and maintain recruiting activity reports and KPI related data.
