Job Description

EAG Laboratories has a great opportunity fora client focusedChemist or Materials Scientist looking to provide sales support to our operations team. The AssociateTechnical Sales Specialist's primary responsibility is tosupportlead management, database entry, initial customer request fieldingand order fulfillment/transactional quoting.

Supports sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations (CRM) with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s). Focus of work may be in pre-sale and/or post-sales. Develop technical knowledge of broad range of analytical methods.

  • Associates Degree in a technical field;Preferred B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent in education and experience
  • Prior experience (academic or industrial) in chemistry, materials science
  • Preferred experience with surfaceor elemental analysis (SIMS, XPS, etc.)
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proficient communicator and listener
  • Strong analysis and judgment skills
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
  • Computer literate, high level of accuracy and detail oriented
  • Handle multiple functionsand maintain good organizational skills
