Job Description
A new opportunity is available for an Associate Producer, Digital Content to join our performing arts team.

Reporting to the Series Producer, the Associate Producer oversees content and asset management of our various digital properties. The Associate Producer will also work closely with our Social Media, Audience Engagement and Digital teams to create digital content and drive broadcast and streaming views. Specific responsibilities include:

● Act as primary point of contact for the web properties of Great Performances, NYC-Arts, Reel 13, Theater Close-Up and other culture and arts specials;
● Ensure timely and accurate updates to sites and proprietary video management system;
● Write SEO-friendly site content and asset metadata;
● Assemble regular newsletters;
● Maintain internal asset schedules and rights tracking documents;
● Monitor and moderate website and YouTube comments;
● Package and edit some video for web and social;
● Coordinate with digital department to produce additional assets for web and social.

Qualified candidates will be extremely detail oriented and organized with strong time management, editorial and copy-editing skills. Additional skills include:

● A minimum of two (2) years working in digital production and digital content management;
● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere, etc.), HTML, WordPress and Microsoft Office;
● Experience working with video and media management;
● Knowledge of SEO best practices.

Candidates with the following knowledge and experience are preferred: Mailchimp, codecs, troubleshooting video exports, performing and/or visual arts.
