About the Role:

You will become the newest addition to a small team of dynamic, creative thinkers responsible for charting new territory to bring Otsuka's first-ever prescription digital therapeutic to market in the US. This role requires a high degree of collaboration with other teams to execute against shared goals and product strategy. Experimentation and a self-starter, trail-blazer mindset will be core to the initiatives you'll help build to support this important launch - a key part of Otsuka's commitment to the evolution of digital solutions and strategy for patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead consumer targeting and work with agencies for channel activation to calibrate media mix for maximum reach, impact and product interest and adoption (approx. 50% time)
    • Identify target customers within the healthcare industry for whom to develop integrated marketing campaigns across channels
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders across marketing and other functions to create strong performing campaigns and ensure use of data-driven insights and industry best practices to reach identified target customers
    • Write content and copy across channels and platforms including but not limited to email, social, search, SMS and collateral
    • Leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis to draw insights for continuous optimizations on campaigns, communications, and consumer segmentation and education
    • Analyze and report on key marketing channel health metrics to contribute to continuous improvement
    • Act as the in-house channel marketing expert, with deepest experience as a digital expert for all needs related to website, email, social media, smartphones / app store and more
  • Be a thought partner and active strategic contributor to the commercial team in order to elevate the organization's digital therapeutics capabilities (approx. 25% time)
    • Derive market insights from research data, industry reports, and case studies to translate into answers for business questions
    • Execute pointed deliverables based on strategic conversations and open-ended feedback
    • Design and test frameworks for new and innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing the trajectory of the launch past "business as usual" '
    • Derive effective and creative communication methods to gain senior leadership endorsement and cross-functional buy-in for big-picture planning and decision making
  • Maintain responsibility for the commercial team's goal setting, timelines, and over-arching project plan (approx. 25% time)
    • Create aspirational, yet executable business goals for the commercial team to plan against and hold responsible teams accountable for delivery
    • Manage vendors including agency partners and technology firms in order to achieve goals in a timely and efficient manner
    • Become the "go-to" person for any/every request related to commercial team plans, documents, and communications


  • You have a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of work experience in operations, marketing, data analysis, and/or relevant consulting in life sciences or healthcare industry
  • It is highly preferred that you have prior experience with commercializing mobile applications or other digital products in mental health at leading digital health startups
  • Marketing experiences that are highly preferred include:
    • Developing and executing multi-channel promotional strategies
    • Coordinating digital marketing campaigns (especially using social media, CRM systems, etc.)
    • Executing product and customer experience support architecture for a digital product (e.g., mobile applications, enterprise system software, B2B and B2C)
    • Integrating promotional campaigns and sales force execution

  • You have created and executed marketing initiatives that drove measurable awareness, trial, and/or retention (preferably for a digital health product)
  • You are able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering results on time
  • You possess strong project management skills and can successfully collaborate cross-functionally with all levels of management
  • You have impeccable presentation and communications skills (written and verbal)
  • You are a "power-user" of Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • You stay up to date on product and industry-related news and developments
