Associate Account Manager, Lead

Opportunity

The Associate Account Manager, Lead position is responsible for managing the Residential/Light Commercial lead management program. This role coordinates the flow of lead information to channel partners, and internal staff to ensure prospective customers who submit leads for Residential, Light Commercial and/or Portable products receive a gracious experience, which will generate revenue for the category. This position will manage the Lead Management interactions with end consumers and will work cross-functionally with channel marketing, product marketing, accounting, and sales operations teams to deliver VOC to respective audiences.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of data and reporting of leads from customer submission to internal CRM system.
  • Manages set of assigned leads through the sales cycle and qualification process, from origination to close of sale.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date training documents for Lead Management personnel to follow to ensure proper data governance, integrity, and reporting.
  • Build and manage relationships with all outside vendors associated with the Lead Management program, to ensure guidelines are followed.
  • Report on and develop end consumer satisfaction survey regarding their experience searching for backup power.
  • Audit dealer's response time to ensure compliance is met for tier status.
  • Develops relationships with Kohler distributors and dealers, by delivering high quality leads and continued follow-up for assistance.
  • Is an expert on the Kohler product line and continues to expand product knowledge as new products are developed.
  • Generate revenue through Inside Sales & Marketing efforts, primarily over the phone and using web-enabled technologies and processes to communicate with external and internal customers.
  • Uses Microsoft Excel and Power BI to develop visual representations of lead data and identify trends/industry changes to respective internal teams.

Skills/Requirements

  • Four-year Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum two years of applicable experience in an outbound sales capacity desired.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Excel required, previous CRM, Microsoft Access, and PowerBi experience preferred.
  • Minimum two years' experience using Salesforce.
  •  Travel required up to 5%.
