This job will have the following responsibilities:
Manage the entire project lifecycle to deliver comprehensive digital solutions on multiple projects on time and on budget. Develop detailed project plans and collect client information (as needed) for development. Accurately identify and mitigate project risk, forecast development timelines and budgets accordingly. Working as a member of an interactive development team researching and executing emerging solutions. Develop and communicate project performance throughout development to all stakeholders. Must possess a thorough understanding of digital development in all its forms (design, IXD content, UI development, engineering and QA) and the ability to facilitate dialog that represents Schwab's development efforts and methodologies. Should have strong understanding of interactive strategy, design, production and project management as well as tactics to leverage social media. Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office tools. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written presentation skills.CommentsThe Brand Strategy and Identity group is responsible for the development and socialization of the Brand Identity as well as oversight of all Schwab brand assets. This includes building and protecting the brand with internal and external stakeholders; developing and stewarding the brand guidelines; and managing the photography used by the brand. We are currently offering an opportunity for a dynamic Art Buyer who is passionate about brands, and will procure required art, review usage rights of all elements used in projects, coordinate pre-production planning, and prepare for reproduction of all projects.
Qualifications & Requirements:
-Manage Usage Rights Reviews -Recommend photographers and illustrators that are appropriate for the execution of the agency's creative concepts under existing timetables and budgets -Negotiate cost and timing with the artist's representatives for the best product within budget -Coordinate pre-production planning and purchasing of artwork (photography and illustration) and prepares for reproduction -Administer all related paperwork, PO's, invoices, releases, etc. -Manage portrait shoots, including processing, coordinate retouching and uploading -Taxonomy/metadata project in Bynder, including keyword structure to all assets and reorganization -Manage in-branch shoots, including processing, coordinate retouching and uploading -Stock research requests and purchasing -Respond to asset requests and reviewing finished materials. -Builds relationship at appropriate client/vendor level -Keeps abreast of current trends and technology Tasks -Usage Rights Review contact -Brand Review contact -Obtain bids on required art -Provide estimate to clients and agencies -License art, including music and illustration -Participate in weekly departmental staff meetings -Keep supervisor apprised of the status of work You must have: -Good judgment and imagination to be able to make recommendations for the visual elements of an advertisement. -Some art education in advertising design and conceptual thinking -Previous experience as an Art Buyer/Associate Art Buyer/Producer -Previous experience working in DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems -Must have 5+ years of experience within stock photography or comparable industry -Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Illustrator skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral -Computer literate -Team player -Strong problem-solving skills and detail oriented Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience preferred
