Title: Advanced Analytics Business Information Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA; Indianapolis, IN; Norfolk, VA; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH;

Utilize advanced analytics knowledge into member behavior drivers and preferences, value propositions, and operational effectiveness and efficiencies to evaluate needs. Consults business leaders and internal partners to apply the insights to test and drive product innovation and enhancement, to target the right members for the right service, to measure program outcome and demonstrate value, to help win and retain clients, and to support information based strategic decision making.

How you will make an Impact:

• Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions.
  
• Performs modeling of information sources and flows.
  
• May coordinate the activities of a project team and monitors project schedules and costs for own projects.
  
• Provides analytical insights to support business solution development based on quality, use, cost and other key drivers;
  
• Develops and refines analysis templates for problem diagnosis and opportunities assessment;
  
• Develops targeting criteria or customer segmentation based on analytical insights, clinical inputs, product design and operations considerations;
  
• Develops predictive models and other tools that help target the right members;
  
• Develops methodology to measure clinical, utilization and financial outcomes of a program/initiative;
  
• Leads applied research projects; authors white papers, presents at industry conferences and submits journal publications.
  
• Addresses limitation of certain data sources and evaluates incremental value of new data sources.
  
• Conducts training on use of applications developed.
  

Minimum Requirement:

• Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  
• 1+ year of project management experience
  
• 1+ year of experience with visualization tools - Tableau, Click, Domo, etc
  

Preferred Skills, Experiences and Competencies:

• Experience with developing expert modeling system for segmentation/stratification that supports customized strategies for different customer segments in a major industry highly desirable - healthcare, financial, database/direct marketing, online retails, consulting, etc.
  
• Substantial analytical experience in healthcare industry preferred.
  
• Expertise with analytical tools and comprehensive experience with Teradata, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SAS or equivalent data base tools strongly preferred.
  
• Healthcare Advanced Analytics experience including statistical models, ML, AI, etc
  
• Agile project experience
  
• Jira/Confluence
  
• Python/R
  
• Cloud-based technology (GCP and/or AWS) and tools (e.g. Snowflake)
  
• PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred.
